Chauffeur-Driven Safe Travel Covid-19

As cities begin to reopen from COVID-19 lockdowns and people start moving again, the Chauffeurs’ and customers’ safety is our number 1 priority. That is why we have implemented all necessary safety measures to make each ride COVID-19 risk free.

Keeping Our Cars Clean

Just as we would wipe down public and shared services with disinfectant, we also sanitize our cars. Clean whichever parts of the car passengers come in contact with, like door handles, etc.

Ventilation

Keep the windows open, if possible. Lowering vehicle windows to increase airflow. The chauffeur will be wearing a protective mask at all times inside the vehicle. The cars on chauffeured rides are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before each travel. Avoid using the recirculated air option for the car’s ventilation.

Availability of Hand Sanitisers

Every car has alcohol-based hand rubs containing at least 60 percent alcohol for both chauffeurs and customers. An initiative implementing comprehensive safety measures in all our vehicles for providing a safe travel experience to, both, passengers and chauffeurs.

Guidance & Procedures

As safety is always paramount at Green Executive Cars, we have of course, followed the new guidance to the letter. But we have also added some important amendments, which we believe will make all our chauffeur-driven journeys safer. The bespoke nature of our business means that we can continue to provide a very personal service, even during times of crisis. Small details, but we feel they are important. Here are the main points of our revised Coronavirus Travel policy.

  • Sanitize. Drive. Sanitize.
  • All vehicles be sanitised before and after the ride.
  • The vehicle is given at least one all over general clean per working day.
  • Regularly sanitise higher risk areas such as areas that are touched more regularly.
  • Supply tissues & face masks for passengers.
  • Good ventilation may help reduce the risk of the transmission of the Coronavirus.
  • Chauffeurs will not shake passengers’ hands, and whenever possible, will observe the 2 metre social distance rule.
  • Cleaning Staff

Cleaning staff wears appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including:

  • Surgical mask
  • Latex gloves
  • Disposable gown
  • Eye protection
  • Arrival

On arrival at the destination, the passenger(s) should wait for the chauffeur to open the door. Once the chauffeur is at least 2 metres away, and after they have checked the pavement and road are clear from approaching traffic, they will instruct the passenger(s) to exit the car.

    Departure

We advise that the passenger(s) should step back at least 2 metres and allow the chauffeur to step away from the passenger doors. The chauffeur will direct you when it is safe to climb aboard your vehicle.
